DEADLINE TO REGISTER: BY MIDNIGHT, TWO DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT (May 13)

Join us for a Backcountry Women Adventure Women hike on a portion of Pinawa Red Trail in the quaint town of Pinawa, overlooking parts of the Pinawa Channel.


Event Leaders: Christina Hiebert and Maggie Wen Click for more informationIf you are ready to take your experience up a notch from sticking to trails around Winnipeg, this is your opportunity to join a leader who loves to empower women to safely step out of their comfort zones and try new experiences

Arrival Time: Arrive by 9:00 AM. We will begin the hike no later than 9:30 AM. The time arranged allows for you to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for leaders to share information with the group. 


Location: Pinawa Red Trail. Meeting details will be emailed to registered attendees.

Duration/Distance: 7 KM 
Experience: This event is open to participants with an average level of fitness who have some hiking experience. You must have the ability to walk with the group at a moderate pace for the duration of the activity and come to the activity with appropriate footwear, gear and outerwear.

Terrain: The trail is well-maintained and includes some ups and downs across rocky terrain and through forested sections. Expect mud and slippery rocks if there has been recent rain.

Pace: Slow to moderate with a break for a lunch and additional stops for water as needed. 

Please keep dogs at home.
