Join us for a Backcountry Women Adventure Women hike on Amisk Trail and Inverness Falls. This trail travels through boreal forest, rocky landscape, and has scenic views along the way. Join us for this wonderful hike in the Whiteshell!

Event Leaders: Maggie Wen and Lara Stregger 

Arrival Time: Arrive by 9:00 AM. We will begin the hike no later than 9:30 AM. The time arranged allows for you to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for leaders to share information with the group. 

Location: Amisk Trail and Inverness Falls (Whiteshell). Exact meeting location will be shared with registered participants. A valid Manitoba Parks pass is required and can be purchased online.

Overall Difficulty Rating: due to the factors mentioned below, this activity is rated a 3/5. This rating is subject to change based on prevailing conditions at the time of the activity, including but not limited to weather.

Duration/Distance: 6.5 km
Experience: This event is open to participants with an average level of fitness who have some hiking experience. You must have the ability to walk with the group at a moderate pace for the duration of the activity and come to the activity with appropriate footwear, gear and outerwear.

Terrain: The trail includes ups and downs along rock and boardwalks that can be slippery when wet, tree roots, and possible sections covered with water and mud. 

Pace: Slow to moderate with a break for a lunch and additional stops for water as needed. 

Please keep dogs at home.
