Join us for a Backcountry Women Adventure Women hike on Pinawa Channel Heritage Walk. Come enjoy a beautiful hike along the Pinawa Channel close to Lac du Bonnet. This is an out and back trail including a beautiful suspension bridge crossing and beautiful views of the channel.

Arrival Time: Arrive by 9:00AM. We will begin the hike no later than 9:30 AM. The time arranged allows for you to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for leaders to share information with the group. 

Location: Pinawa Channel Heritage Walk. Exact meeting location will be shared with registered participants.

Overall Difficulty Rating: due to the factors mentioned below, this activity is rated a 3/5. This rating is subject to change based on prevailing conditions at the time of the activity, including but not limited to weather.

Duration/Distance: 7.4KM
Experience: This event is open to participants with an average level of fitness who have some hiking experience. You must have the ability to walk with the group at a moderate pace for the duration of the activity and come to the activity with appropriate footwear, gear and outerwear.

Terrain: Relatively flat trail, mostly dirt trail with a bit of rock/tree roots. Will be in forested area as well as along the channel - be prepared for bugs despite cooler temperatures. Should be comfortable crossing over suspension bridge above the water (about 50m above water level)

Pace: Moderate with a break for a lunch and additional stops for water as needed. 

Please keep dogs at home.
