DEADLINE TO REGISTER: BY MIDNIGHT, TWO DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT (SEPTEMBER 21)

Join us for a Backcountry Women Adventure Women hike on Falcon Lake. Here's a great chance to join a very chill paced and relaxing hike while enjoying good companyBe rewarded by a gorgeous elevated view at the Top of the World Viewpoint, and finish the day with a visit to the Owl Wing Cafe at Falcon Trails Resort for some post-hike goodies. (Note: you are responsible for your own purchases at Owl Wing.) The hike has moderate challenges with some ups and downs with some rugged and rocky terrain that is characteristic of the beautiful Whiteshell region.

Arrival Time: Arrive by 9:00AM. We will begin the hike no later than 9:30 AM. The time arranged allows for you to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for leaders to share information with the group. 


Location: Top of the World  trail in Whiteshell Provincial Park. Exact meeting location will be shared with registered participants. valid Manitoba Parks pass is required and can be purchased online.

Duration/Distance: 3.4 KM
Experience: This event is open to participants with an average level of fitness who have some hiking experience. You must have the ability to walk with the group at a moderate pace for the duration of the activity and come to the activity with appropriate footwear, gear and outerwear. If you need a rain shell or insulating layer for this event there is an opportunity to borrow these items - please reach out to your event leader!

Terrain: Rocky and forested terrain with some ups and downs. 

Pace: Easy pace with breaks for water, taking in the fall foliage, viewpoint stops, snacks. 


Please keep dogs at home.
