Come and join Backcountry Women for fun evening with an enlightening workshop where we will delve into the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace. While many may think of Leave No Trace (LNT) as simply 'take only pictures, leave only footprints,' it encompasses much more than that! LNT serves as a comprehensive guide for minimizing our impact on the environment during any outdoor pursuit. As a special benefit for our Backcountry Women members, we are pleased to offer this workshop free of charge. However, we kindly request that you only register if you are truly dedicated to attending, as a considerable amount of effort is being put into providing this valuable opportunity for our members.

Non members are welcome to join our workshop by registering at the non-member price. You will receive a lot of value for attending this session plus support the work we do.

In this workshop we will do some hands-on learning of the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace.

- Plan Ahead and Prepare

- Travel & Camp on Durable Surfaces

- Dispose of Waste Properly

- Leave What you Find

- Minimize Campfire Impacts

- Respect Wildlife

- Be Considerate of Others

At the end of this workshop, you will be equipped with meaningful and achievable ways of integrating LNT into your outdoor adventures, and you will be awarded with a Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop certificate.

Location: Half Pints Brewing Co. Details will be sent out in a reminder email. Beer will not be available for purchase, but tea and coffee will be available.

Time: Please arrive at 6:45pm. We will begin promptly at 7:00pm
