Happy Trails Hikes are about movement, connection, and getting out on to the trails in or around Winnipeg during the week. This series of hikes, happening select Tuesday evenings until the beginning of December, is a series open to all levels designed to connect with others. Some hikes will have a theme and others are just an opportunity to get active outdoors while connecting with like-minded women from the Backcountry Women community.

Event leader: Christina Hiebert Click for more information!

Arrival Time6:15 PM. We will begin the hike no later than 6:30 PM(Please note the time change from previous Happy Trail Hikes if you have participated. We are slowly losing sunlight and want to utilize the daylight as much as possible.) The time arranged allows for you to have time to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for the leaders to share information with the group.

Location: Silver Springs Park in the town of Birds Hill and Duff Roblin Parkway. These two trails are part of the Great Trail that extends 27,000 KM across Canada. The Great Trail is the longest recreational trail in the world and offers a wide range of activities including hiking, cycling, and paddling through a variety of landscapes in urban, rural and wilderness settings.
